Data Processing & Storage

RoleForge does not store user CVs, job descriptions, or generated content on its servers. All data is processed ephemerally and is not saved to our database after generation is complete.

Local Data Storage

Locally stored data (such as Chrome storage preferences) remains entirely on the user's device and is not transmitted to our servers for storage purposes.

Product Analytics

RoleForge collects limited product analytics to understand onboarding, feature usage, upgrade interest, and uninstall feedback. These analytics use an anonymous extension identifier and do not include CV text, resume text, job descriptions, generated cover letters, or other application content.

Chrome Web Store Analytics

RoleForge may use Chrome Web Store and Google Analytics reporting for store listing performance, such as aggregate page views and acquisition metrics. These reports are separate from the extension's internal product analytics.

Third-Party Services

To provide our services, RoleForge integrates with the following third-party providers:

• Google Gemini API: The extension uses the Google Gemini API for processing job descriptions and CVs. Your data is sent securely for processing and is subject to Google's data privacy standards.
• Supabase: Authentication and user data (such as your email and Pro status) are securely handled by Supabase.
• Google Analytics / Chrome Web Store analytics: Store listing analytics may be used to understand aggregate listing performance.
• Stripe: All one-time Pro Sprint payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store or handle your credit card information directly.
